Program Note
MoonFall is an immersive evening-length ballet for chamber orchestra and dance, inviting the audience into a mythic, shifting dreamspace. Structured in two acts, the first unfolds with slow ritual clarity—conjuring lunar mythology, gravity, and collapse. In the second act, the audience is free to move and choose their own path among simultaneous scenes that blur the lines between performer and witness. Developed in collaboration with Density512 and Red Nightfall Dance Theatre, the work bridges classical rigor and contemporary urgency, tracing tides of grief, tenderness, and transformation. The music weaves stillness and rupture with layered textures, invoking the pull of memory, climate, and the unconscious.
